Multipipe Visits Local Colleges: Shaping the Future of Plumbing

At Multipipe, we’re passionate about innovation and the future of the plumbing industry. That’s why we were thrilled to recently visit Colchester Institute and Thurrock South Essex College and share our expertise with the next generation of plumbers and heating engineers.

Equipping the Next Generation

We had a fantastic couple of days engaging with six different classes of Level 1, 2, and 3 students. Our goal? To introduce them to the exciting world of Multi-Layered Composite Pipe (MLCP) and the revolutionary press-fit plumbing systems that utilise it.

Learning by Doing

Theory is important, but hands-on experience is invaluable. We provided the students with the opportunity to get up close and personal with MLCP pipes and fittings. They learned about the benefits of MLCP, such as its flexibility, durability, and ease of installation.  More importantly, they got to try bending the pipes and see how press-fit connections work firsthand.
